Messy Church is a relaxed, creative way for families to explore faith together. It’s especially designed for children from birth up to primary school age, but older siblings and adults are very welcome too. 

Each session begins with a variety of hands-on craft and activity stations. These are based on a Bible story or theme for the day, giving children and adults the chance to create, play, and talk about the story together. 

After the activities we gather for a short time together with songs, the story, and a few moments to reflect and celebrate what we’ve been exploring. 

Messy Church is informal, friendly, and full of fun — there’s no need to sit still for long and everyone can join in at their own pace. 

When Messy Church takes place on a Sunday, we finish by sharing tea together so families can chat and enjoy some time together.
